Distinguished Community Service Award
| Official Criteria | The Distinguished Community Service Award is presented, when merited, to a member of the Saint Mary's University Alumni Association who has made an outstanding achievement and/or contribution in their community, discipline, or to Saint Mary's University. |
| Nominations | All members of the Saint Mary's University Alumni Association and employees of the University may submit a letter of recommendation (one page maximum) for a candidate, illustrating their suitability for this Award. A completed nomination form must be submitted alongside the letter. The annual deadline for submission will be Friday, August 10th, 2012. |
| Selection | Candidates are considered annually by the Saint Mary's University Alumni Association's Awards & Nomination Committee, whose decision must be ratified by the Alumni Office. While previous recipients of this Award are ineligible for re-nomination, re-nominations of previous candidates are welcome. |
| Timeline | Consideration will take place following Spring Convocation, and this Award will be presented during an annual event to celebrate the recipients. |
